Hey everyone,
Big milestone to share: we just brought on our first hire! It is a huge step for us, and it has me thinking a lot more about how to stay connected to the workflow without micro-managing.
To keep things moving, I have been using a simple automation that acts as my "early warning" system.
The Slack Flow
We set up a workflow that sends a notification to a dedicated Slack channel every time someone replies (for the first time) to our outreach. We used Make.com to bridge Lemlist and Slack. It is a straightforward setup, but it gives me a massive amount of clarity.

Each ping tells me exactly which client the reply is for and the specific campaign they are responding to. It has changed how I lead in three ways:
Predicting the flow: Based on the frequency of pings, I know instantly if we need to ramp up outreach or if we are already on track to hit our targets.
Pipeline awareness: I can see exactly who is entering our pipeline in real-time.
Capacity management: If that channel starts blowing up, I can tell if the team is about to get overwhelmed. It helps me step in and support them before things get messy.
Rethinking the stack
This Slack setup is great for the day-to-day, but as we scale our outreach efforts, I am looking at our entire CRM and outreach architecture. I want to make sure the foundation is solid for a potentially larger team and more clients to manage.
I am also curious to know which tech stacks are working for you.
I could talk about workflows and tech for hours because I love finding ways to save time. Since I just shared that lemlist trick, I want to check in. Do you actually find that technical stuff useful, or should I stick to other topics?
That’s it for this week!
