AI is here to stay, and for an affiliate manager, its best use right now is acting as a filter. Instead of losing hours to "catching up" on threads, I’ve been using AI summarization to get straight to the facts.

I’ve been integrating a few tools into my daily routine to handle the heavy lifting of email management. They aren't perfect yet, but I think they're already worth sharing today.

The Summarization Stack

1. Spark Mail App (The Search Engine for all your inboxes) I use Spark to bring all my mailboxes into one view. Their AI assistant allows you to query your inbox using natural language.

Instead of digging through threads, I can ask: "What samples did I promise to send this week?" or "Give me the main points from the threads regarding additional BFCM exposure." It treats your emails like a searchable database, which is a massive time-saver.

And it also allows you to summarise an e-mail thread.

2. HubSpot Breeze AI: I very recently started utilising Breeze, HubSpot’s integrated AI.

It provides a "record summary" directly on company records. When I’m checking in on a partner, it pulls a concise overview of our entire communication history that I cross check with other logged activities. It eliminates the need to scroll through notes before a call or follow-up.

3. Gemini Gmail has its own summarisation feature, but in all honesty, I'm not fully satisfied with it yet. I’m keeping it in the mix to see how it improves with updates and seeing adjustments, but for now, it remains the weakest of the three.

Why would a brand even request a CPA increase? You failed, Gemini.

I’m sure there are a million other tools that do the same thing, but this is what I am using right now.

What’s Next?

These mailbox features aren’t going to stop at summarization. We’re already seeing the shift toward "agentic AI" tools that won't just tell you what happened, but will suggest (and eventually execute) the next steps, like drafting a follow-up (Spark already does this) or updating your CRM with specific data like deal sizes.

That’s it for this week!
